  • Boons, Your assumption is that the Kennedy clan gives vast sums of money to the church. This is highly unlikely considering that most liberals are more inclined to spend other people's money while holding on to their own.

  • Just another example of capitalism being thrown off balance when the government tries to implement its own agenda. If the government does not back the high risk loans (aka Fannie & Freddie) then the financial institutions do not make them (or make less of them). It really is that simple.

  • All he had to do was knock off a Seven-Eleven and make a few monthly payments to keep him current. Much less risk. He got greedy trying to pay off the whole enchilada. I wonder if Bank of America holds the mortgage. A much better story would have been: Man robs bank to pay for surgery.
